Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined and smooth, then add 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and mix gently.
  3. Spread 1/2 cup of the cheese filling evenly across the bottom of your prepared baking dish.
  4. Place three lasagna noodles on top, then spread one-third of the remaining cheese filling evenly over the noodles, followed by one-third of the chopped deli ham and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. Repeat the layering: add three more noodles, a third of the cheese filling, another third of the ham, and another cup of mozzarella. Press down gently.
  6. For the final layer, place your last three noodles on top, spread the remaining cheese filling, and top generously with the remaining mozzarella.
  7. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let the lasagna rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serve garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
