For the Dressing
  • ½ cup Raw Tahini Acts as the creamy base with a nutty flavor
  • ¼ cup Fresh Lemon Juice Use fresh squeezed for best flavor
  • ¼ cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil Can substitute with avocado oil if needed
  • ¼ cup Cold Water Adjusts consistency as needed
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup Feel free to reduce for less sweetness
  • 1 clove Garlic Freshly minced is preferred
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt Adjust to taste
For the Fresh Herbs
  • ¼ cup Fresh Basil Do not substitute with dried herbs
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley Use fresh only
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives Offers a mild onion flavor

Method
 

Directions
  1. In a blender, combine tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, and cold water. Add maple syrup, minced garlic, and kosher salt. Blend until smooth.
  2. Finely chop fresh basil, parsley, and chives. Fold the fresh herbs into the blended mixture carefully.
  3. Check consistency; add more cold water if too thick, blending as necessary.
  4. Taste and adjust flavors with salt or lemon juice as desired.
  5. Transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  6. Serve drizzled over salads, grilled vegetables, or as a dip.
