Step-by-Step Instructions for Yogurt Marinated Chicken
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine whole milk Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice and zest, minced garlic, and minced fresh ginger. Add ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, ground cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  2. Take the chicken and place it into a resealable bag. Pour the yogurt marinade over the chicken, seal the bag, and massage to coat.
  3. Preheat your grill to 425°F (medium-high heat). Brush the grill grates with oil.
  4. Place the marinated chicken on the grill. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  5. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes. Slice, garnish with chopped cilantro, and serve.
