Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Gather all your ingredients on the kitchen counter.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, soaked breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Press down firmly to shape the loaf.
- Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Monitor the meatloaf to maintain consistent heat.
- While baking, prepare the glaze by combining Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, and apple cider vinegar in a saucepan. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
- After 45 minutes, drizzle two-thirds of the glaze over the meatloaf and return it to the oven for another 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Once baked, let the meatloaf rest for 15 minutes. Slice and serve.
