Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with tin foil, leaving overhang. Coat with cooking spray.
  2. Arrange a single layer of Club crackers at the bottom of the pan.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, butter, and milk. Stir over medium heat until melted and slightly thick, about 5 minutes.
  4. Pour one-third of the caramel mixture over the first layer of crackers.
  5. Top with another layer of crackers, pressing gently, and pour one-third of caramel mixture evenly over.
  6. Finish with a final layer of crackers and pour the remaining caramel mixture over them.
  7. Melt milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth, then pour over the caramel layer.
  8. Sprinkle optional toppings as desired over the melted chocolate.
  9. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  10. Lift bars out using foil, slice into squares, and serve.
