Preparation Steps
- Prepare the Baking Pan: Butter an 8x8-inch baking pan generously to prevent sticking.
- Mix Rice Krispies and Cinnamon: Combine Rice Krispies cereal with desired amount of cinnamon in a large bowl.
- Melt Butter and Marshmallows: Melt 4 tablespoons of salted butter in a large saucepan over low heat, then add 4 cups of mini marshmallows, stirring continuously.
- Combine Mixtures: Remove from heat and quickly fold cinnamon-coated Rice Krispies into the melted marshmallow mixture.
- Press Mixture into Pan: Transfer the mixture into the prepared pan and press it evenly with a buttered spatula.
- Sprinkle Cinnamon Sugar: Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the top of your pressed Rice Krispie mixture.
- Cut and Serve: Slice the Churro Rice Krispie Treats into squares or rectangles once cooled.
