  • 3 tablespoons Chili Powder adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Paprika smoked paprika adds flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Cumin coriander is a substitute
Liquid and Richness
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth homemade or low-sodium
  • 3/4 cup Beer optional, can substitute with broth or water
  • 1 tablespoon Chicken Base e.g., Better Than Bouillon, optional
Finishing Touches

  • 1 cup Sour Cream can use Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup Chopped Cilantro substitute parsley if desired

Cooking Steps

  3. Add chicken broth and beer (if using), then stir in chicken base. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Incorporate hot sauce, sour cream, chopped cilantro, and lime juice. Heat for 5-10 minutes until warmed through.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving. Serve hot with optional toppings like extra cilantro or lime.
