For the Egg Wash

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder; mix until creamy.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry to about ¼ inch thick and cut into 1-inch wide strips.
  4. Take one pastry strip and place a dollop of the filling, fold over and seal edges.
  5. Gently twist each filled strip to form spirals and place on the baking sheet.
  6. Brush the tops of each twist with an egg wash for a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden-brown and puffed up.
  8. Allow to cool slightly and serve warm with dipping sauces.
