- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until well combined and form into four patties.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400°F, or heat a skillet over medium. Add oil or butter to prevent sticking.
- Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for about 4-5 minutes per side, avoiding pressing down. Add cheese during the last minute of cooking.
- Butter the inside of buns and toast on the grill or skillet until golden brown.
