  • 2 fillets Sea Bass moist and flaky texture
  • 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil for cooking
For the Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt or sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly Ground Black Pepper fresh is best
For the Sauce
  • 2 lemons Fresh Lemon Juice for zesty kick
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter or plant-based butter
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic fresh garlic is ideal
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest for intense flavor
For Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley chopped
  • Thin Lemon Slices or Wedges optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the sea bass fillets under cold water and pat dry.
  2. Season both sides generously with kosher salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Place the seasoned sea bass fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  4. Transfer fillets to a warm plate and cover with foil.
Making the Sauce
  1. Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet over medium heat until fragrant.
  2. Add lemon juice and zest, scraping bottom of the pan.
  3. Whisk in unsalted butter until emulsified, then stir in chopped parsley.
Serving
  1. Place the sea bass on a plate and spoon the lemon sauce on top.
  2. Garnish with lemon slices and parsley before serving.
