Preparation
- Rinse the sea bass fillets under cold water and pat dry.
- Season both sides generously with kosher salt and pepper.
Cooking
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the seasoned sea bass fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes.
- Carefully flip the fillets and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer fillets to a warm plate and cover with foil.
Making the Sauce
- Sauté minced garlic in the same skillet over medium heat until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and zest, scraping bottom of the pan.
- Whisk in unsalted butter until emulsified, then stir in chopped parsley.
Serving
- Place the sea bass on a plate and spoon the lemon sauce on top.
- Garnish with lemon slices and parsley before serving.
