- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the meat is browned and no longer pink.
- Once the beef is browned, add minced garlic, freshly grated ginger, and Chinese five spice to the skillet. Stir continuously for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the tamari and sweet Thai chili sauce, stirring well to coat. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- While the beef filling simmers, warm each tortilla in the microwave for approximately 15 seconds.
- On each warmed tortilla, place a scoop of the beef mixture in the center. Top with cucumber, cilantro, basil, and peanuts.
- Fold the sides of the tortilla inward and roll from the bottom up tightly to encase the filling.
- Arrange the finished rolls on a platter and serve warm with dipping sauces.
