- Season shrimp with seafood seasoning. Heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Add remaining oil to the skillet, then add ground sausage. Break apart and cook for 5-7 minutes until no longer pink and crispy.
- Add onion, bell peppers, and garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
- Sprinkle in oregano, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, black pepper, and cayenne. Stir and then add flour to coat.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir for 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add rice to the skillet and mix. Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Fold the cooked shrimp back into the skillet, heating through for a couple more minutes before serving.
