Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Step 1: Heat a tablespoon of oil in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat. Add finely chopped onions and diced green peppers, cooking them for about 3-5 minutes until tender and slightly caramelized. Stir frequently to ensure even cooking. Add minced garlic for an additional minute until fragrant.
  2. Step 2: In a large mixing bowl, add the sautéed vegetables, shredded roast beef, softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, and provolone cheese. Mix in optional horseradish and Worcestershire sauce. Season generously with salt and pepper. Blend all ingredients together until fully combined and creamy.
  3. Step 3: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a baking dish with a little oil or butter. Pour the creamy mixture into the greased dish, spreading it evenly with your spatula.
  4. Step 4: Bake for 15-30 minutes until the dip is bubbling and the cheese on top is golden brown.
  5. Step 5: Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Serve with garlic-rubbed toast, crusty bread, or tortilla chips, or keep warm in a slow cooker on low for about 1 hour.
