Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Ground Beef Baked Tacos
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Combine salt, black pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cumin, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Mix tomato paste and water in another bowl until well combined.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet and cook ground beef for about 5 minutes, breaking into crumbles.
  5. Sprinkle the spice mixture over browned beef and add the tomato mixture, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place six tortillas on it.
  7. Sprinkle shredded cheese evenly over tortillas.
  8. Take about 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture and spoon it onto one side of each tortilla.
  9. Bake for 3 minutes to warm up, melt cheese, and crisp edges, then fold each taco in half.
