Step-by-Step Instructions for Crack Burgers
- In a large mixing bowl, combine one pound of ground chuck, half a cup of sour cream, a packet of ranch dressing mix, six strips of crumbled bacon, and one cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix gently until evenly distributed.
- Divide the mixture into six equal portions and shape them into patties, slightly thicker in the center.
- Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 350°F to 375°F. Oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on one side until browned. Flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
- One minute before they are done, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and close the lid to melt.
- Remove from grill, let rest for a few minutes, then assemble with buns and toppings.

Notes
For the best results, avoid pressing down on the patties while grilling and let them rest after cooking.
