  • 1 teaspoon sugar can replace with honey or omit

  1. Heat a large frying pan over medium heat and add the neutral oil, warming until it shimmers.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion and kimchi for 2-3 minutes until onions are soft and kimchi is aromatic.
  3. Incorporate the canned tuna, mixing well and breaking up any large chunks, cooking for another 1-2 minutes.
  4. Season with gochugaru, dashi powder, and sesame oil, mixing thoroughly.
  5. Add sugar, stirring to combine, and cook for another minute, adjusting spice levels as needed.
  6. Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions before serving.
