For the Cheesy Topping
  • 1 cup White Cheddar Cheese, shredded Other sharp cheeses can also work as replacements.
  • 1 cup American Cheddar Cheese, shredded Milder, smooth cheeses can be swapped in.
  • 1/2 cup Blue Cheese, crumbled, optional Omit for a milder taste, or use feta instead.
For Garnish
  • 1/4 cup Green Onions, sliced Chives can be used for a similar taste.

Method
 

Preparation and Cooking
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather an oven-safe dish.
  2. Melt unsalted butter in a skillet over medium-high heat and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
  3. Stir in shredded chicken and Frank’s Red Hot Sauce. Simmer for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and mix in the softened cream cheese until fully melted and blended.
  5. Stir in sour cream, then top with shredded white cheddar and American cheddar cheeses, melting gently.
  6. Transfer to the oven and bake for about 10 minutes. Broil for an additional minute for a golden top.
  7. Garnish with crumbled blue cheese and sliced green onions before serving warm with dippers.
