Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat for 6-8 minutes.
- Add chopped onion and cook until softened, then add minced garlic and stir.
- Stir in marinara sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then let simmer for 15 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth, then stir in chives and parsley.
- Layer a thin layer of meat sauce in the baking dish, followed by noodles, cream cheese mixture, and cheeses, repeating until all are used.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden.
- Let the lasagna rest for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
