Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  3. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  4. Roll out the chilled dough to ¼ inch thickness and freeze for 15 minutes before cutting shapes.
  5. Place the cutouts on a lined baking sheet and freeze for another 20 minutes.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 8-10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack.
  7. Mix icing ingredients, color as desired, and decorate cooled cookies with festive patterns.
