- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan by greasing it with butter or non-stick spray.
- If making homemade biscuit dough, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until coarse crumbs form, then add milk and chill.
- For canned biscuit dough, cut each biscuit in half horizontally to create two layers.
- Melt unsalted butter. Mix sugar and pumpkin pie spice. Dip each biscuit half in melted butter, then coat in the sugar mixture.
- Spread pumpkin puree on the cut side of each biscuit half, then stack them with the plain sides together in the loaf pan.
- Bake for 35-60 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Brush the top with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon mixture. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
