  • 1 cup Hazelnuts Chopped and toasted
  • 2 cups Flour All-purpose or cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Sugar (Granulated and Brown)
  • 2 large Eggs & Egg Yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
For the Chocolate Topping
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips Any variety (dark, semisweet, white)
  • 1/2 cup Extra Nutella Melted

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cream room temperature unsalted butter and Nutella together until light and fluffy.
  2. Mix in brown and granulated sugars, kosher salt, and vanilla extract, then add eggs and yolk until smooth.
  3. Sift in flour and baking soda, then fold in chopped hazelnuts.
  4. Gently fold in chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  5. Chill the dough for at least 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare baking sheets with parchment paper, scoop dough and roll in chopped hazelnuts.
  7. Bake for 11-12 minutes or until golden around the edges.
  8. Drizzle melted Nutella over cookies and cool on a wire rack.
