- In a large mixing bowl, combine equal parts of Rice Chex and Corn Chex cereal, gently folding them together to create a crunchy base.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, add semi-sweet chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter together. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the mixture is melted and smooth. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Chex cereal and use a spatula to fold until the cereal is evenly coated.
- Place powdered sugar in two resealable plastic bags, divide the chocolate-coated cereal between the bags, seal, and shake to coat.
- Spread the chocolate-coated Chex on a baking sheet in a single layer. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes until chocolate is firm.
- Transfer to a large mixing bowl and add mini patriotic pretzels, M&Ms, and colorful sprinkles. Gently toss to combine.
