  • 0.5 lb shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 0.5 lb lump crab meat fresh or high-quality canned
  • 8 oz cream cheese must be at room temperature
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise can substitute with Greek yogurt
  • 0.5 cup sour cream yogurt can be an alternative
  • 0.5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese substitute with cheddar or Monterey Jack if desired
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups fresh spinach can use frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.25 tsp paprika can substitute with smoked paprika
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt adjust to taste
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper can increase for more spice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice fresh is best
  • 1 tbsp butter can be replaced with olive oil

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Once bubbling, add shrimp and sauté for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Remove from heat to cool slightly.
  2. In a medium bowl, check lump crab meat for shells. Combine cooled shrimp with crab meat, mixing gently.
  3. In a large bowl, mix 8 oz cream cheese, ½ cup mayonnaise, and ½ cup sour cream until smooth.
  4. Stir in 3 minced garlic cloves, ¼ tsp paprika, ½ tsp onion powder, ½ tsp salt, and ¼ tsp black pepper into the mixture.
  5. Gently fold in shrimp, crab meat, 2 cups fresh spinach, and 1 tbsp lemon juice.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pour dip into greased baking dish, topping with ½ cup shredded mozzarella and ¼ cup grated Parmesan.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
