Method
 

Preparation
  1. Roll out the pastry dough on a lightly floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness.

  4. Fold the dough over and pinch firmly to seal, using a fork for a decorative edge.
  5. Whisk the egg to create an egg wash and brush it on top of each pizza pocket.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving or freeze for later.
