Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, butter, salt, and egg. Mix well and knead for 7 to 10 minutes until smooth.
First Rise
  1. Transfer dough to an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for 60 to 90 minutes.
Filling Preparation
  1. Melt butter, cream, sugar, and instant coffee in a small saucepan over low heat.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in chopped chocolate until smooth, and cool the filling.
Shaping Rolls
  1. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface.
  2. Spread the filling evenly, cut into strips, roll tightly, and place in a greased baking pan.
Second Rise
  1. Cover and let shaped rolls rise for 30 to 45 minutes in a warm spot.
Baking
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Drizzle cream over rolls and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
Icing Preparation
  1. Whisk together icing sugar, instant coffee, and enough cream for a smooth consistency.
Serving
  1. Drizzle icing over slightly cooled rolls and serve warm.
