Step‑by‑Step Instructions
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the brown sugar and butter. Heat in the microwave for about 1 minute, stirring halfway through until everything is dissolved and well combined.
- In a separate bowl, mix the sugar and ground cinnamon together until evenly blended.
- Take your refrigerated flaky buttermilk biscuits and cut each one into quarters. Flatten each piece into a 3-inch circle.
- Sprinkle about half a teaspoon of the cinnamon-sugar mixture in the center of each flattened biscuit. Place a cube of cream cheese on top, then fold the edges over the filling.
- Grease a 10-inch fluted tube pan generously to avoid sticking. Sprinkle half of the chopped walnuts at the bottom of the pan.
- Begin layering by placing half of the stuffed biscuits in the pan. Sprinkle half of the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture and half of the butter glaze over the biscuits. Repeat this process.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the pan in the oven and bake the Gorilla Bread for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Once baked, carefully remove the pan from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Then, invert it to release the Gorilla Bread.
