- In a medium bowl, combine warm water, granulated sugar, and instant dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5 minutes until foamy.
- Add salt, minced garlic, and dried herbs to the yeast mixture. Gradually mix in all-purpose flour and grated Parmesan cheese until the dough is sticky and combined.
- Flour a clean countertop and knead the dough for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic, adding flour if it’s too sticky.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover. Let it rise in a warm spot for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- After rising, punch down the dough and divide it into two equal pieces, shaping each into a ball. Place on a greased baking sheet.
