Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Allow at least 10 minutes for the oven to heat up.
  2. In a blender, combine the eggs, milk, all-purpose flour, and salt. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour melted butter into your preheated baking dish, coating the bottom evenly.
  4. Carefully pour the blended batter into the baking dish over the melted butter.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes, watching for it to rise and turn golden brown.
  6. To make the buttermilk syrup, combine butter, sugar, buttermilk, corn syrup, and baking soda in a saucepan. Boil gently for about 7 minutes until it thickens.
