  • 2 cups Mini Patriotic Pretzels or yogurt-covered pretzels
For the Sweet Mixture
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips or milk chocolate
  • ½ cup Peanut butter or almond/sun butter
  • 2 tablespoons Butter or margarine/coconut oil
For the Coating
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar or brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla pure vanilla extract preferred
For the Festive Touch
  • 1 cup M&M milk chocolate candies (red, white, and blue) any chocolate candy can be substituted
  • ¼ cup Patriotic colored sprinkles swap based on your theme

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the Chex cereal and mini patriotic pretzels, stirring gently to mix.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, add chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Microwave at 50% power in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the Chex and pretzel blend, gently folding to coat.
  4. Divide the mixture into two resealable bags, add powdered sugar, seal, and shake until coated.
  5. Combine the coated mix with M&M candies and sprinkles in a large serving bowl, folding gently to mix.
  6. Serve immediately or divide into snack containers for later.
