  1. Start by peeling 2 large or 3 small mandarin oranges, making sure to remove any seeds. Create bite-sized segments that are easy to blend. Grate fresh ginger.
  2. In a blender, combine the mandarin slices with the freshly squeezed juice from 1 lemon and the grated ginger. Add ½ to 1 cup of water. Blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth.
  3. Check the consistency of the juice. If it's thicker than desired, add more water gradually and blend again. Adjust sweetness with maple syrup or honey if preferred.
