Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Boil water in a kettle or pot until it bubbles vigorously. Once it boils, remove from heat and let it sit for about one minute.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of coarsely ground coffee beans to your French press. Optionally, mix in a splash of vanilla extract.
  3. Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds in the French press. Allow the coffee to steep for four minutes.
  4. Froth your choice of milk until creamy. If using a handheld frother that doesn't heat, warm the milk to about 150°F before frothing.
  5. After steeping, press down the plunger and divide the coffee between two mugs. Top with the frothed milk.
