- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare the loaf pan by greasing it and dusting with flour.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream together the butter and granulated sugar in a stand mixer until light and pale.
- Add eggs one at a time, then mix in the vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the creamed butter alternating with the milk, stirring until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, toss the chopped apple with the light brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
