  • 36 cookies Oreos or gluten-free cookies for GF option
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter melted
For the Creamy Layers
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tub Cool Whip or homemade whipped cream
  • 3 cups milk any kind
For the Minty Filling
  • 3 boxes cheesecake instant pudding mix use instant for best results
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract adjust to taste
  • 1 few drops green gel food coloring optional
For the Topping
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9 x 13 inch baking pan with non-stick spray.
  2. Crush 36 Oreos into fine crumbs and mix with ½ cup melted unsalted butter. Press the mixture into the pan and bake for 8 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  3. Beat together 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of powdered sugar, and 1 tub of Cool Whip until smooth. Spread over the cooled Oreo crust.
  4. Whisk together 3 cups of milk and 3 boxes of cheesecake pudding mix until thickened. Fold in another tub of Cool Whip and mint extract, then pour over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  6. Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top before serving. Cut into squares and enjoy!
