  • 0.25 cup Cold Butter Can use vegan butter
  • 1 teaspoon Almond/Vanilla Extract Pure extract preferred

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with ¼ cup of butter.
  3. Mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Stir in lemon juice, orange zest, and extract; fold in peaches.
  4. Pour the peach mixture into the greased baking dish and bake for 15 minutes.
  5. Mix lemon juice with milk; in a food processor, blend remaining ingredients for topping until crumbly.
  6. Add milk mixture to flour blend and pulse until just moistened.
  7. Spoon topping over the peach mixture, covering it evenly.
  8. Bake for an additional 40 minutes until the topping is golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
