Ingredients
  

Lemonade Base
  • 4 cups Dandelion Tops ensure they are fresh and harvested from a pesticide-free area
  • 2 cups Dandelion Greens select young, tender leaves for the best flavor
  • 1 cup Water use filtered water for a cleaner taste
  • 1/2 cup Raw Honey can swap for agave syrup
  • 1 cup Lemons fresh lemons give the best flavor
  • 7 cups Cold Water

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Juice fresh lemons to yield about one cup of lemon juice and pour it into a medium-sized pitcher.
  2. Bring one cup of water to a rolling boil, remove from heat and stir in half a cup of raw honey until dissolved, then combine with lemon juice.
  3. Let the mixture cool for about 10 minutes, then add in the dandelion tops and stir lightly.
  4. Pour in the additional seven cups of cold, filtered water into the pitcher.
  5. Refrigerate the lemonade for at least one hour to let the flavors meld together.
  6. Strain out the dandelion tops using a fine mesh sieve and serve over ice, garnishing with lemon slices or edible flowers if desired.
