Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Spread the frozen French fries in a single layer on a baking sheet, ensuring they aren't overlapping. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.
- While the fries are baking, season the chicken breast generously with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Heat a skillet over high heat, adding oil. Sauté the chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet and let rest before chopping.
- In a separate skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat, allowing it to crisp up for about 5-8 minutes. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess grease, then chop into bite-sized pieces.
- Once the fries are baked, spread them evenly on a baking sheet. Layer the chopped chicken over the fries, followed by the crispy bacon. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously on top.
- Return the loaded fries to the oven, broiling or baking at 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes. Watch closely as the cheese melts and bubbles, aiming for a gooey, slightly golden finish.
- Once the cheese is melted, remove from the oven. Top with freshly chopped green onions and add sour cream if desired. Serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes
Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for the best texture revival.
