  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for brushing

  • 1 cup Sour Cream can use non-dairy
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise do not substitute
  • 3 tablespoons Fresh Dill or use half dried
  • 2 tablespoons Capers can swap with green olives
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard omit for milder flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice fresh is best
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Zest

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise, fresh dill, capers, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper until smooth. Let the sauce sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare your baking sheet.
  3. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Arrange salmon fillets on the rack, brush with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and dill.
  4. Bake the salmon for 10 minutes, then increase the temperature to 450°F (232°C) and bake for an additional 5-8 minutes until opaque and flaky.
  5. Remove salmon from the oven, plate each piece, and top with creamy dill sauce. Garnish with extra dill and capers.
