  • 1 tsp Onion Powder optional

Coating
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese for rolling the cheese balls

  • electric mixer
  • Parchment Paper

Method

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sharp cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Blend until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Scoop out approximately one tablespoon of the cheese mixture and roll it into a ball, about 1 inch in diameter. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Spread a generous layer of shredded cheese on a plate and roll each cheese ball in the cheddar, pressing lightly to coat evenly.
  4. Press small pieces of carrot into the front of each cheese ball to create beaks, and insert whole peppercorns as the eyes.
  5. If the cheese balls are too soft, chill them in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Arrange on a festive platter and serve with crackers, fresh veggies, or your favorite dipping sauces.
