Step-by-Step Instructions for CrockPot Whole Chicken Rotisserie
  1. Generously season the whole chicken, inside and out, with paprika, steak seasoning, kosher salt, and freshly ground black pepper.
  2. Spray the slow cooker insert with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Place foil balls, or small onion or garlic bulbs, at the bottom of the Crockpot.
  4. Carefully insert the seasoned whole chicken into the Crockpot on top of the foil balls.
  5. Cook the chicken on high for 3 to 4 hours, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
  6. Baste the chicken with the collected juices and allow to rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
  7. Expertly carve the chicken and serve with your favorite side dishes.
