  • 8 large Eggs
Filling
  • 1 pound Breakfast Sausage Can be swapped for turkey sausage or spicy chorizo.
  • 0.5 cup Milk Whole milk is preferred.
Toppings
  • 0.5 cup Cheddar Cheese Montgomery Jack can be used for a milder flavor.
  • 0.25 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.75 teaspoon Salt

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the baking dish, pinching seams together.
  3. Pre-bake the crust for about 5 minutes.
  4. Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 6–8 minutes.
  5. Whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, garlic powder, and black pepper in a bowl.
  6. Layer crumbled sausage and cheddar cheese over the pre-baked crust, then pour the egg mixture on top.
  7. Bake for 35–40 minutes until set, checking doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Let it cool for 5–10 minutes before serving.
