- Preheat your broiler to high.
- Combine 16 ounces of shredded white cheddar cheese and 2 ounces of cream cheese in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir constantly for about 5-7 minutes until melted and smooth.
- Whisk in ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of Dijon mustard, and ½ cup of beer. Stir for another 2-3 minutes until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a small oven-proof skillet and sprinkle reserved shredded cheddar on top.
