  • 2 cups Half and Half Can replace with all milk for a lighter option.
  • 1 pkg Frozen Cheese Tortellini Star ingredient for flavor.
Flavor Enhancers
  • 1/2 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes Chopped and rehydrated in warm broth.
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh garlic can be used.
  • 1 tsp Dried Basil
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
Final Touch
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Plus extra for garnish.

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add tortellini, and cook as per package instructions for 3-5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a stock pot, combine tomato soup, chicken broth, milk, half and half, sun-dried tomatoes, onion powder, garlic powder, dried basil, and salt. Stir well.
  3. Gently heat the soup mixture for 5-7 minutes on medium heat, stirring frequently.
  4. Reduce heat to low and add the cooked tortellini, stirring to combine. Warm through for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Gradually sprinkle in Parmesan cheese, stirring continuously until fully melted and incorporated.
  6. Ladle the soup into bowls, garnish with extra Parmesan, and serve hot.
