For the Dip
  • 15 oz Roasted Artichokes Can use jarred or fresh artichoke hearts for convenience.
  • 15 oz White Cannellini Beans Substitute with Northern beans if preferred.
  • 1/2 whole Lemon Juiced and zested; using fresh lemon will boost taste significantly.
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil Avocado oil can be a delightful alternative.
  • 2 tsp Fresh Thyme If using dried, reduce to 1/3 the amount.
  • 2 tsp Oregano If using dried, reduce to 1/3 the amount.
  • 2 tsp Basil If using dried, reduce to 1/3 the amount.
  • 1/4 tsp Salt Feel free to adjust based on your taste preferences.
  • Black Pepper To taste, freshly ground recommended.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced; adjust for personal preference.
  • 1/2 cup Italian Cheese Blend Substitute with a combo of Parmesan and Asiago if unavailable.
Topping (Optional)
  • 1/4 cup Extra Cheese Sprinkle on top before baking for a cheesy finish.
  • Fresh Herbs For garnish.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the roasted artichokes, white cannellini beans, lemon juice and zest, olive oil, fresh thyme, oregano, basil, salt, minced garlic, and the Italian cheese blend. Mash lightly with a fork.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly. Smooth the top with a spatula.
  4. Bake for about 7 minutes or until bubbling and the top is golden.
  5. Allow to cool slightly before serving with pita chips, fresh veggies, or crostini.
