Preparation
  1. Chop vegetables (onions, celery, garlic) and gather other ingredients nearby.
  2. In a large pot over medium heat, sauté onions and celery in oil for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef, cook for 6-8 minutes until browned and drain excess fat.
  5. Pour in broth and bring to a gentle boil, then simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in cream cheese and heavy cream, mixing until blended for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Add cheddar cheese, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and Italian seasoning, simmer for another 5 minutes.
  8. Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with bacon bits and green onions before serving.
