Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and gather your ingredients.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat, cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken and sauté minced garlic in the skillet for about 30 seconds.
  5. Add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer.
  7. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted, season with salt and pepper.
  8. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions, drain and rinse.
  9. Slice chicken and add back to the sauce along with the pasta, toss to combine.
  10. Transfer skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  11. Garnish with fresh basil leaves and serve warm.
