- Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water, drain the pasta, and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning, cooking until shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same skillet, lower heat and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, simmering gently. Stir in Parmesan until melted and the sauce is creamy.
- Return shrimp to skillet, add cooked pasta, and toss to coat. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
- Serve in bowls, garnishing with paprika, parsley, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. Serve immediately.
