  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated Nutritional yeast can serve as a great vegan option.
  • 1 tsp Paprika Optional; smoked paprika enhances flavor.
  • Salt To taste.
  • Pepper To taste.

  • 2 tbsp Chopped Parsley

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve a cup of pasta water, drain the pasta, and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add shrimp and Cajun seasoning, cooking until shrimp turn pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower heat and sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream and chicken broth, simmering gently. Stir in Parmesan until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  4. Return shrimp to skillet, add cooked pasta, and toss to coat. If sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Serve in bowls, garnishing with paprika, parsley, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. Serve immediately.
