- Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.

- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly.

- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes to develop a golden top.

- Garnish with remaining chopped basil and let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
