Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, and spices. Mix gently until just combined and form into 1 inch meatballs.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add oil, and cook the meatballs for 6-8 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  3. In the same skillet, pour in the tomato sauce and add spices. Simmer for about 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  4. Blend the sauce if desired for a silkier texture. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  5. Return the meatballs to the skillet, stir to coat, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Lower heat and stir in butter and cream until melted and combined for a creamy sauce.
  7. Serve the meatballs warm over basmati rice or with naan, garnished with fresh cilantro.
