Preparation Steps
  1. Cook the Chicken: Place boneless chicken breast in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 15-17 minutes until fully cooked and tender. Shred and let cool.
  2. Mix Filling: Combine shredded chicken, softened cream cheese, buffalo sauce, green onions, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth and well incorporated.
  3. Prepare Wontons: Lay a wonton wrap flat, spoon filling into the center, dampen edges with water, fold, and pinch to seal. Repeat until filling is used up.
  4. Fry Rangoons: Heat oil in a skillet to 360°F. Fry 5-6 rangoons at a time for 20-30 seconds on each side until golden brown.
  5. Drain: Use a spider strainer to remove cooked rangoons from oil. Place on a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess oil.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm with dipping sauce like ranch or blue cheese and enjoy fresh.
