Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Bang Bang Salmon
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Brush each fillet with olive oil and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or prepare your grill to medium heat. For pan-searing, heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- For baking, place the salmon on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. For grilling, cook skin-side down for 4-5 minutes per side. For pan-searing, start skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip.
- Whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey (if using), and rice vinegar or lime juice in a small bowl. Set aside.
- Transfer each cooked fillet to a serving plate and drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the salmon.
- Garnish with optional green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges.

Make sure to adjust the sriracha level in the sauce according to the spice preference. Leftover sauce can be stored in the fridge for later use.
