Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Bang Bang Salmon
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Brush each fillet with olive oil and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking, or prepare your grill to medium heat. For pan-searing, heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. For baking, place the salmon on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. For grilling, cook skin-side down for 4-5 minutes per side. For pan-searing, start skin-side down for 4-5 minutes, then flip.
  4. Whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey (if using), and rice vinegar or lime juice in a small bowl. Set aside.
  5. Transfer each cooked fillet to a serving plate and drizzle the Bang Bang sauce over the salmon.
  6. Garnish with optional green onions and sesame seeds. Serve with lime wedges.
